2025 Reissue of The Used's Self Titled album on Limited Edition color vinyl.
The Used’s self-titled debut album, released in 2002, emerged from a grueling process of demo submissions and industry rejections, but the perseverance paid off when it went on to achieve certified platinum status. This raw, screamo-infused post-hardcore record channels the band members' personal struggles, with tracks like "A Box Full of Sharp Objects" reflecting lead singer Bert McCracken’s battle with addiction. The album's visceral energy and emotional depth not only struck a chord with listeners but also set a new standard for the emocore genre. Peaking at number 50 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, The Used has left an enduring legacy, inspiring a new wave of artists and shaping the sound of early 2000s alternative rock.
